The Swallow at the Hollow is a Barbecue Restaurant featuring meats pit smoked over Hickory and fruitwood. Menu items are prepared fresh daily using organic, locally grown ingredients whenever possible. Vegetarian options include Pit Smoked Portabella Mushroom, Naturally-Grown Salad Greens and Fried Green Tomatoes.

Since 1999, The Swallow at the Hollow has set the standard for barbecue in Atlanta. Owner Bill Greenwood introduced GMO free ingredients in our preparations, as well as organic ingredients wherever available.
Our homemade bread and rolls feature locally sourced ingredients including 100% organic whole wheat flour and honey to bring you the finest ingredients in their purest form - making our breads nutritious and delicious! Rolls & bread are available to-go for you to enjoy at home!
Catering is available for special events and parties! We offer all menu items from both The Swallow at the Hollow and Greenwood’s Restaurant prepared for your guest list. We do special request items too! Food can be picked up at your convenience, or let us deliver, set-up and provide full-service for your event.
